This week, he celebrated 1000 consecutive days running! And now I can see what, when I hit my 30 days, I didn’t want to stop, so I kept going. I will be the first to admit, it was not a perfect streak. There were a few days that I had to miss, either do to travel or illness, but there was never more than two days in a row I wouldn’t run. For me, this is a huge accomplishment and so I continued to count them. Now that I’ve hit 100, I still don’t want to stop, so my new goal is 365 days running. There is still much more growing I want to do as a runner. Improve my pace, run further, and be consistent are just a few of my goals.
